The Genesis Coupe will be offered in seven configurations (though only six will be available at launch) with either a 210 hp, 223 lb-ft of torque 2.0L turbocharged inline-four (boasting a 30 mpg highway fuel economy figure) or the 306 hp 3.8L V-6.
Four-cylinder Genesis Coupes will be offered in four trim levels -- base, Premium, Track, and R-Spec, the latter arriving later in the model year. All four will come standard with a six-speed manual transmission, with a five-speed automatic available only on base and Premium models. Standard on both are 18-in. wheels with all-season Bridgestone Potenza RE92 tires sized 225/45VR18 up front and 245/45VR18 at rear, 12.6-in. vented front discs and 12.4-in solid rear discs with single-piston calipers, 24 mm front and 19 mm rear anti-roll bars, strut brace, front, side, and, side curtain airbags, integrated Bluetooth, keyless entry, and several other features. Premium models get an upgraded 360-watt 10-speaker Infinity stereo, push-button start, a sunroof, and a navigation system that will become available later on in the year.
Track and R-Spec models receive upgraded brakes in the form of 13.4-in. discs up front and 13.0-in discs at rear with four-piston calipers at all four corners, beefier 25 mm front and 22 mm rear anti-roll bars, torsen limited-slip differential, and 19-in. wheels with high-performance Bridgestone Potenza RE050 tires sized 225/40YR19 front and 245/40YR19 rear. The more luxury-oriented Track version receives Premium-package upgrades plus leather seat bolsters with red cloth inserts and HID headlamps and a navigation system while the performance-oriented R-Spec will be equipped similarly to the base model.
The breakdown between the three V-6 models -- base, Grand Touring, and Track -- is similar, although a six-speed automatic transmission is available on base and Grand Touring models instead of the five-speed.
