2009 pontiac solstice coupe

Its been over seven years since Pontiac first showed the Solstice Coupe in concept form at the 2002 Detroit Auto Show, the first concept commissioned by Bob Lutz in his role as GM's product chief. At last, the production Solstice Coupe, which first broke cover last year at the New York Auto show, is finally close to arriving in dealer showrooms.
Like the roadster, the targa-roofed Solstice Coupe will be offered in base and GXP form, the former powered by a 173-hp, 167-lb-ft 2.4L I-4, the latter by the now-famous 260-hp, 260-lb-ft 2.0L ecotec turbo-four, both versions offered with either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic. And, despite the extra glass and fixed roof, GM says that the Coupe weighs just 22 lbs. more than the roadster
